A Letter From the Founder

Welcome,

Thank you for taking the time to explore our project. I want to share a bit about myself and the journey that led to the creation of BeaconSafe.

As someone managing ADHD and Dysgraphia, I’ve always found it challenging to organize and communicate my thoughts effectively. Despite these hurdles, I’ve always been able to see solutions to problems—solutions that often feel obvious to me but are harder for others to grasp. For years, these learning disabilities kept me from articulating those solutions, limiting my ability to bring my ideas to life.

Then AI technology became a game-changer. Using AI tools, I’ve been able to organize my ideas and express them in ways I couldn’t before. It’s not just a helpful tool for me—it’s an essential accommodation that empowers me to finally share my vision. (Link: Read more about how AI has helped me – Blog post to be composed)

BeaconSafe is one of those ideas. After spending countless hours on the road, I saw firsthand the dangers and risks that could be reduced with simple but smart solutions. That’s where the idea for BeaconSafe’s roadside beacons came from—an obvious solution born from experience on the road. Discover the BeaconSafe solution

My belief in the potential of non-profit organizations stems from this journey as well. I firmly believe that non-profits, when they adopt a business-driven mindset, can outperform traditional for-profit corporations. By maximizing business performance, non-profits can not only further their missions but also create lasting social change. Learn more about our innovative non-profit approach

Through this initiative, I want to show that non-profits can lead and innovate while staying true to their purpose. This isn’t just about disrupting the current model—it’s about sustainable growth that benefits communities and society as a whole.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support means more than words can express, and together, I believe we can build a future where non-profits are not only mission-driven but also industry leaders.

Sincerely,

Patrick Handley-McCarthy
